Excellent

by Debbie Belkouri - Thursday 1st 2007f March 2007

I first tried Rendezvous at Nargile last Thursday evening. We didnt pre-book but should have done cause we only had one hour and a half before the table was occupied by someone else. However, we werent rushed and it was certainly worth it. We opted for the set dinner menu £13.95 for a starter and main course. The starter was of a reasonable size, very very tasty and served with some lovely hot pitta bread. Main course was out of this world. I had the chicken casserole and cous cous and my friend had the Moussaka (which Ill be choosing tonight!!) portions sizes were fantastic, freshly cooked, piping hot, absolutely delicious. Feeling absolutely stuffed but so impressed we decided to treat ourselves to a pudding. I had the Bailays/Mascarpone pudding and my friend has the Turkish pastries. Both were excellent although we struggled to finish!! Didnt have time for coffee but were served with some traditional turkish delights and chocolates before we left which was a nice touch. All in all cost around £40 for us both, quite reasonable considering the location, time, setting, portion sizes and quality. Liked it so much we are going back tonight and we have pre-booked this time so we will make the coffee!! GO - You'll love it!!
