A review of City Hospital by Helen written on Friday 20th of January 2012
Hi Folks
My Mum is 85 years old now and is beginning to "clear things up".
While doing this she found a wee public notice which says
"A reunion is to be held next May 17th (it doesn't say what year the reunion was)for nurses trained at the City Hospital, Aberdeen from the mid 40's to the mid 50's" Contact Moira Young, 9 Provost Sq, Brechin DD9 6DB.
She can't remember/doesn't know what year this wee advert was printed. I think it was actually enclosed in a letter from her sister-in-law.
Anyway she is always wondering if there is anybody from her class or era still alive or that she can talk to.
She is doing well my Mum and at 85 years old bought her first car. Amazing lady.
Can anybody help with this or give me some direction to follow? That would be so grand.
Our family immigrated to New Zealand so it is hard to do this follow up from here, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and kind regards
Helen.
